学术报告：Geometricgroups and Ricci curvature

报告摘要：Geometric group theory is the study of finitely generated groups via the geometry of their associated Cayley graphs. 

In this talk, I will explain some basic ideas that relates geometric groups and Ricci curvature, especially the Gromov-Hausdorff metric. 

I will also explain some recent developments relates to the modified Milnor conjecture.

报告人简介：葛化彬，中国人民大学副教授。研究领域：几何分析与几何拓扑。在Geom. Funct. Anal.，Adv. Math.，Math. Ann.，Trans. AMS.，J. Funct. Anal.，Int. Math. Res. Not.，Calc. Var. PDE. 等期刊发表数学论文31篇。
